But I have 4th-generation hardware (i5 4200U cpu and HD-Graphics), supportive of Wi-di under Windows 8.1 My problem seems to be that Samsung's graphics are unique, such that I can't upgrade to Wi-Di Pro running Windows-10 on my Samsung laptop. Why can't Intel support Wi-Di outside of "pro" version? Are you also saying that one must have "Vpro chip technology too now", in order to effect Wi-di?
What I do know is that I have the requisite, up-to-date hardware and I was able to stream through Wi-Di using Windows 8.1 (the o/s pre-installed on my machine, and which my Samsung was built-upon:
