I bought UHD Smart TV Samsung UE48HU8500 month ago with Miracast® certified internal WiFi module WIDT30Q (Certification ID: WFA17616 2012.31.12 Applications & Services - Miracast® Display).
Screen mirroring works fine with my existing smartphons Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 (via Screen mirroring) and Samsung Galaxy S Duos GT-S7562 (via Wi-Fi direct). I mention this to warn the assumption of TV hardware malfunction.
On the other hand, I have the ultrabook Samsung NP530U3C under Windows 8.1 x64 with Framework 4.5 and update KB2975719 (Aug. 2014) (Wi-Fi Direct APIs for Discoverability)
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2975719 which has native Miracast support as described on page http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/dn265513(v=vs.85).aspx
"Wireless (Miracast) displays can optionally be supported by Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) 1.3 and later drivers. This capability is new starting with Windows 8.1."
Intel clearly recognizes this fac too on page https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=24329&lang=eng&ProdId=3712#note3
"Wireless Display native Miracast support under Windows 8.1 is now supported through the operating system's Charms menu. For more information, see the Miracast FAQ."
Ultrabook hardware is fully consistent with the requirements for Intel® Wireless Display mentioned there -https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=24329&lang=eng&ProdId=3712#note3
as well as is fully consistent for lists "Which Intel products support Miracast?" - http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-034563.htm
and "System requirements for Intel® WiDi" - http://supportkb.intel.com/wireless/wireless-display/templates/selfservice/intelwidi/#portal/1026/article/2511
Namely ultrabook built on...
Intel® series 7 HM76 chipset
i5-3317U 3rd Generation Intel® Core ™ i5 Processors with Intel® HD Graphics 4000
Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6235 WiFi-BT adapter
Thus from Samsung were remains only
1. Brand
2. SSD Samsung MZ7PC128HAFU-000KN
3. TFT- LCD Samsung LTN133AT23-801 (Size: 13.3-inch WideScreen (11.3 "x7.1"), Resolution: WXGA (1366x768) HD, Surface Type: Matte, Backlight type: LED )
I have installed the latest versions of the drivers at the moment:
Intel (R) HD Graphics 4000 - Win64_153330.exe 15.33.29.64.3958 (Driver version 10.18.10.3958 30.09.2014)
Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software - Wireless_17.1.0_e164.exe (Driver version 15.14.0.2 15.08.2014)
From the foregoing follows that ultrabook hardware are complies with all imaginable and non imaginable requirements for a successful "Project to a connected screen" with the possible modes "PC screen only", "Duplicate", "Extend", "Second screen only".
But .... I did not succeed screenmirroring not once.
If about processor and chipset there is no doubt, while I have doubts about WiFi Alliance (Miracast) specifications compliance for Advanced-N 6235.
And here's why ....
WiFi Alliance site has two certificates relating to the Advanced-N 6235
1. Certification ID: WFA16349 from 2012.09.09
2. Certification ID: WFA18406 from 2013.01.31
If in certificate from 2012.09.09 Advanced-N 6235 is certified as "Applications & Services:Miracast source", then in a new certificate ID: WFA18406 from 2013.01.31 this "Applications & Services: Miracast source" not mentioned anymore.

This is how to understand?
Joe_Intel or allan_intel, comment on this fact please.
Does this mean that the Advanced-N 6235 with Firmware v 15.6 (Certification ID: WFA18406 from 2013.01.31) can not act as Miracast-certified Source?
The second question. How to know adapter's FW version? Adapter's FW versions mentioned in certificates are very similar to the WirelessPRO installer's version.
Does this mean that this version installers this is the adapter's FW version mentioning in certificates?
And the third question.
Where can I get the FW v 15.2.0.19 (Certification ID: WFA16349 from 2012.09.09) to try to solve my problem finally.
My problem is this ...
I tried to install drivers 10 combinations with fully uninstall previous versions and reboot from those available:
HD Graphics 4000
Win64_15333.exe 15.33.3.64.3304 ( Driver version 10.18.10.3 09.09.2013 )
Win64_153314.exe 15.33.14.64.3412 ( Driver version 10.18.10.3412 22.01.2014 )
Win64_153322.exe 15.33.22.64.3621 ( Driver version 10.18.10.3621 17.05.2014 )
Win64_153329.zip 15.33.29.64.3945 ( Driver version 10.18.10.3945 16.09.2014 )
Win64_153330.exe 15.33.30.64.3958 ( Driver version 10.18.10.3958 30.09.2014 )
Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software
15.6.1.20.zip ( Driver version 15.6.1.20 02.23.2013 )
16.6.0_e164.exe ( Driver version 15.12.06 25.02.2014 )
16.10.0_e64.exe ( Driver version 15.10.5.1 31.10.2013 )
16.11.0_e64.exe ( Driver version 15.12.0.6 25.02.2014 )
17.1.0_e164.exe ( Driver version 15.14.0.2 15.08.2014 )
There was not a successful attempt screenmirroring.
I choose Devices -> Project -> Add a wireless display in Charms menu. Window "Searching for devices" appears in Charms menu -> PC and Devices -> Devices.
System detects [TV] Samsung UE48HU8500T 5 sec. after. I select [TV] Samsung UE48HU8500T and system starts to install wireless display driver.
The message "Screen Mirroring: Conecting to NP530U3C" appears in the upper left corner of the TV-set screen and window "[TV] Samsung UE48HU8500. Folow any instructions on television." appears on NP530U3C.
PIN-code should appear on TV-set at this time that I have to enter in the appropriate field on the ultrabook. However, this is not happening.
The TV-set screen dimming and spinner "Loading" appears at the top right corner. TV-set is in this state for about 2 minutes.
Icon [TV] Samsung UE48HU8500T appears in Charms menu -> PC settings -> Devices -> Other device at this time with progressbar that indicates the driver installation process.
Installation process stops about 20 sec. after and inscription "Driver error" appears under [TV] Samsung UE48HU8500T icon.
TV-set switches to the input, which was active before the WiDi/Miracast session about half minutes after. The message "Screen Mirroring: Screen Mirroring has ended" appears in the upper left corner of the TV-set screen. Icon [TV] Samsung UE48HU8500 disappears in Charms menu -> PC and Devices -> Devices - Other device.
WiDi/Miracast session is terminated at this point.
New device Miracast display devices - [TV] Samsung UE48HU8500 appears however in the Device Manager in this time with an exclamation in a yellow triangle that indicates driver installation failure.

( I apologize for the huge picture but this forum has neither Code nor Spoiler tags. )
I can not get WiDi/Miracast session logs ( as advised Joe_Intel ) although in the registry
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ Software\ Intel Corporation\ Intel WiDi] "LogEnable" = 1, and the folder C:\Temp exists. But the logfile is not written anyway. Why?
But there is a record WiDi/Miracast session in EventViewer. I hope that they will help to identify the root of the problem.

Tv-set's FW changed twice already from purchased date 1122 -1250-1260.
At the moment, is the last of the possible versions of FW 1260
Factory reset does not help.
Once again I want to remind - Screen mirroring works fine with my existing smartphons Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 (via Screen mirroring) and Samsung Galaxy S Duos GT-S7562 (via Wi-Fi direct)
What is wrong with my combination of equipment?
Hey Intel guys, what should I do in this situation?
