I bought my laptop from few years ago. My laptop is using 3rd generation Intel i5-3210M processor, Intel Centrino Wireless N-2230, Intel HD Graphics 4000 and so on. My laptop was capable for the Intel WiDi software since the OS was Windows 8. Besides, I can still use my Intel WiDI software after I upgrade to Windows 8.1. Recently, I upgraded my laptop to Windows 10 and I found out the Intel WiDi software is no longer exists in my laptop. Although, I downloaded the new software to install it but the error message keep popping out on my
screen said Intel WiDi software doesn't work on this version of Windows.
Then, I searched the problem though Intel website. I find that intel with 3rd generation processor no longer using the Intel WiDi software, it use Miracast. However, I used the Windows 10 build-in app (Connect) and it said my device might have trouble displaying my content because my hardware wasn't specifically designed for wireless projection.
This problem obsess me because usually I use Intel WiDI to connect the projector for my work presentation. Any solution to address this problem? I tried my best to search it though the internet and used all the ways and solutions and I still can't resolve it. I will attach my laptop basic information and I hope that it will help. Thanks
