General information and documentation on Widi?

So I've been following the Widi standard for sometimes. I think that 90% of Intel user are waiting for a wireless display standard, and Widi was supposed to be implemented from the get-go in Skylake CPUs?

Now Widi is version 6.0 I believe, should be compatible with 4k@60fps, but I still have absolutely no information on it. What kind of hardware and screen support it? What kind of connection does it support (is it like WifiDirect?)? Can it stream uncompressed image or is is currently compressed streaming? If I want to implement it in a prototype, say a VR headset, where do I find OEM?
