I have a new Dell Notebook: Latitude E5570 running Windows 7 64bit, trying to connect to an WiDi display dongle. Older Dell Latitude can, so know that the HP dongle works. Tried it as was out of box, then upgraded to the newest drivers and software, still will not connect.
Tried with Windows Firewall off.
Sometimes screen will resize when attempting to connect, sometimes it will not. It has never connected.
Can connect manually by joining the dongle WiFi network and going to its website (192.168.16.1) and running downloadable program. Just cannot connect desired way with WiDi software for two screen presentations.
