Hi all,
I cant estabilish a Widi connection between my PC and my Philips Android TV (miracast enabled). Here are my specs :
OS: Windows 7 64 bit.
Processor: Intel i3 6100.
GPU: Intel HD graphics 530(driver 20.19.15.4352).
Wifi adapter: Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 7260(Intel Proset Wireless driver 18.40.0).
Widi software version: 6.0.62.0
TV: Philips 48PFT5500 Android TV.
All the hardware is from what I know compatible with Widi. The TV is Miracast enabled so Widi should work without external adapters.
The problem is this. I connect both PC and TV to the Wifi network. Then my TV is listed as wireless display in the Widi app. I try to connect and after accepting the connection on the TV, the TV shows me a 8 digit PIN which I enter in the Widi app. After that the TV says that the device disconnected and the Widi app that there was a problem in the connection.
As you can see I installed the latest drivers from Intel website and installed them in this order: graphics, Wireless, Widi. I tried also disabling Windows firewall but no luck. I have no antivirus or other firewall installed. I cant figure out what the problem is and that is frustrating. Is there some logfile of the connection where i can retrieve more information about the issue? Otherwise do you think is a good idea to watch with Wireshark the network communication between PC and TV in order to guess what is gong wrong?
Any help is appreciated a lot,
Thank you,
Michele
