Hi!
I want to use my TV as a projector via Miracast.
TV model is Miracast capable Philips 47PFS7189/12 with the latest firmare. My PC has Intel i5-6600, it is running Windows 10 and Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 makes it Miracast capable as well. All latest drivers from Intel are installed.
Windows 10 finds "PHILIPS TV Video" in Action Center. I click on PHILIPS TV in Action Center: it shows "follow instructions on your TV" message. Instructions on the TV screen appear: "This device wants to connect to your TV". I select OK. On the TV screen: "Step 1/2 Connecting to device" and "Step 2/2 Connected. Starting playback." The PC monitor goes black, then the TV screen goes black and nothing else happens. I have to press return button on the TV's remote to get the TV back to normal. On my second attempt I can no longer connect to PHILIPS TV from Windows 10 Action Center. Clicking on PHILIPS TV shows "Connecting...", then "Couldn't connect" in Action Center. I have to manually remove the PHILIPS TV from Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers and to search for it again. From here everything repeats.
How can I identify the problem? Is it Microsoft, Intel or Philips?
