Hi there –
Trying to connect my PC to my TV with using Intel WiDi is lately no longer as straight forward as it used to be; something is amiss with the setup and I just cannot figure it out. It worked perfectly with WIN10, perhaps even after the WIN10 November Update, but lately I can connect sometimes within a few seconds, whereas most times it takes up to an hour fiddling about before I get a connection.
I have an Intel CPU i7-4790 with HD Graphics 4600; an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC7260 Network Adapter and a Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter. All drivers are up to date; the TV displays – Ready to connect – the TV and Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter are listed in Devises – I find them in WIN10 Action Center – Project – Connect to a Wireless Display – Connect – Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter_98 – Connecting >>>couldn’t connect – Something went wrong.
I checked and recheck all the drivers; I uninstalled and reinstalled all of them several times; it took me one hour to connect last night and 30 seconds to connect this morning – wanting to repeat it this morning, I haven’t been able to do it yet – two hours plus!
Any suggestions of how to fix this
