Intel® Wireless Display (WiDi) support for Microsoft Windows® 10
Intel WiDi is reliant on the processor, graphics, operating system and wireless networking components of the system.
For the Windows 10 operating system, Intel’s WiDi application is only supported by systems with a 4th Generation (or newer) processor.
Systems with 3rd Generation processors may be able to access the WiDi features using the built-in Miracast capabilities of the operating system.
Systems with 2nd Generation (or older) processors cannot support WiDi under the Windows 10 operating system.

If you have a compatible system but are having problems using WiDi or Miracast under Windows 10 please check the following:
- Run the WiDi Compatibility Tool.
This tool will identify if your system supports Intel Wireless Display or Miracast. The Wireless Display Compatibility Tool is available at WiDi Compatibility Tool
- Check the firmware on the Wireless Display/Miracast receiver.
Most receivers (including those built into TV’s and displays) will need updated firmware that specifically includes support for Windows 10
Note: Some older Intel Wireless adapters are not supported under Windows 10. These adapters may have worked under earlier Windows versions but will notwork under Windows 10:
