We have an Dell Inspiron 2350 All-In-One with a i5-4210. We just updated to Windows 10, uninstalled the old Intel Widi drivers and have installed Intel Widi Pro 6.5.44.
The computer is 10 feet away from the TV in a conference room with no visual impedance. The WIFI is located one room over (15' +/-)
The WIDI Compatibility check reports this as fine, see attached image.
Below is a list of the drivers currently installed:
Intel Dual Band Wireless -AC 7260 18.12.1.2
Bluetooth RFCOMM - 10.0.10240.16384
Bluetooth Personal Area Network - 10.0.10240.16384
Intel HD Graphics 4600 - 10.18.15.4256
We are connecting to a brand new Samsung UN50JU6500FXZA. We verified that the TV has the latest firmware on it and it does at with 1224.
In duplicate screen mode, when we play a video on the computer, it plays perfect video frames. When we look at the Samsung 6500, the image has one second stuttering (looks like a free frame every second) and the audio is perfect. This happens whether it is casting a video or just casting the cursor moving around on the screen.
To troubleshoot further, I connected my new Samsung Note 5 via Wifi Direct on the Samsung 6500 TV. I streamed a YouTube video to the 6500 perfectly.
It appears that the problem lies with the Dell Inspiron 2350 and its software. I am trouble shooting further and updating the graphics driver software (in spite of the fact the WIDI compatibility says that it is ok)
