Need to reboot widi everytime

Hi,

I've made sure all my drivers are up to date but whenever i try to connect to widi i have to reboot my laptop as well as the adapter which is plugged into the TV and then it MIGHT work...its a 50/50 chance.

If it doesn't work, the WiDi software will say its connected and the TV will go black and never show anything. I've tried rebooting one of them to try and fix the problem but it usually needs both rebooted for it to work again.

Here is what im using:

Laptop: Asus UX31A (running Windows 8)

Adapter: Netgear Push2TV (PTV3000)

Intel HD Graphics 4000 (Driver version: 9.17.10.2875)

Intel WiDi software version 3.5.40.0

Any help would be much appreciated.

Also, has anyone tried the Samsung monitors with built in WiDi? Do they have less lag than using the PTV3000 because its built into the monitor?
